Year 2 Day 37

Friday, Friday.

I woke up this morning and took a shower, then went grocery shopping with my mom and sis.

After, they dropped me off at Court's house, and we went to watch the Bison girls play at Monti.

They didn't play very well, and it was kinda ugly to watch in parts. I felt bad, Sor seemed really sad after the game. I got to see Geyen though, so that was great! It's hard to believe it was 5 years ago already that he was coaching us 9th graders. It would be fun to go back!

We came back home and ate supper, then I have been chilling in the living room watching American Dreams with my mom and sis for the better part of the evening.

I have worked out my 3 times this week, but next week, I need to hit it hard. Thank goodness the weight room up at school will be open again.

Year 2 Day 36

Today, I literally did nothing. Well, that is, Leah and I played the second Nancy Drew game all day...it was called the Deadly Device, and it was all about science, and I loved it!

But I still felt lazy. So I dragged Andrew and Leah to open gym to workout and play some soccer. Riley Sprints are fun! 300s are going to suck! Oh well! Life's good!

That's about it for the day. Like I said. I didn't do much.

Year 2 Day 35

The day after Christmas. I just want Christmas to continue!

Leah and I pretty much played Nancy Drew for a solid 4 hours. Then I got stir crazy so I went to workout at  Anytime. I need to get back into shape.

Then I came back, showered, then headed to Rodenwald's to babysit. I love those kiddos.

Friends ended the night. I need to watch that show from the beginning now. I'm really starting to like it. First, I should probably finish HIMYM though.

Year 2 Day 34

Christmas Day, booyah!

We woke up early to open our stockings. I got a lot of food!! My goal is to make it back to school without eating any of it, that way I have some treats left to eat when I get there.

We headed to Grandma and Grandpa's to celebrate with my mom's side of the family. I got to see my cousins, Lauryn and Lexie for the first time in a LONG time. They are just so darn cute!

I got some new pans for baking :) Yay!! A cupcake pan and a bread pan. Plus a new book. We had lots of yummy food, and played Blokus. It was a blast. Plus, my cousin David's girlfriend, Ally was there. He better ask her to marry him soon! :)

When we got home, Leah and I immediately started playing her new Nancy Drew game, Tomb of the Lost Queen.

We definitely stayed up til Midnight playing it. YOLO. I love Nancy Drew.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28-29

Year 2 Day 33

It's Christmas!!!!!!! Finally :)

I am so excited to give my family their gifts :)

I slept in today, hoping that would help make the day go by faster. It helped a little.

I did my soccer workout while watching Santa Clause 3. It always feels good to get the blood pumping, that's for sure.

Leah and I pretty much watches movies for the rest of the afternoon, which consisted of Polar Express, Santa Clause, and the first part of Santa Clause 2.

My family then went to church, like we always do, at 5:00. Church was packed to the brim, but we got a good seat, so I was happy :)

After, we came home and ate our usual dinner of crackers, cheese, and shrimp, with V8 Splash juice :) Yum!

After that, we opened presents. I love watching people open their presents. I got a nice new pair of jeans, The Chronological Bible :) , and an awesome candy dispenser. It's gonna be so great! I can't wait for tomorrow, going to my grandparents! Wahoo!

:) Today is definitely the best day of the year. My family spends time together, sharing in our blessings, and remembering the real reason for the season, the Birth of our Savior.

Year 2 Day 32

Sunday.

Well, I didn't get to sleep this morning. Oh well, church was really foo. Pastor Meyer preached!

My mommy and I chatted for a long time after church. It was great :)

After lunch sometime, we went over to Pastor Meyer's house to help him move stuff into his new house, and it went by pretty speedily with all the help.

We stayed and chatted with him for awhile afterwards.

After getting home, I made dinner. Spaghetti is my favorite. And Beer Bread :)

I definitely fell asleep or a solid 2 hours after dinner. I was just out. No one could wake me.

Then, watched the last part of The Sound of Music on tv, and ended the night with a hilarious comment battle going on on Facebook. Haha, I love my friends.

Year 2 Day 31

Saturday morning also consisted on lots of sleeping.

Leah and I hit up Target and Walmart for the finishing touches on gifts.

After getting home I just lazed around, then got ready for my Christmas party.

Olivia picked me up and we headed to Courtney B's house. It was great to see the girls and it was a blast to play games and do White Elephant. I got a nice ugly Christmas sweater for next year!!!

Year 2 Day 30

Well I definitely slept in today.

I also went shopping with my sis and Liv. It was a solid day, kinda chilly, but I pretty much got all done with mine. I think Leah did too, so that was nice.

We then went to the Bison girl's basketball game against Bemidji, and they won by about 20. It was such a great game, but it makes me miss it so much!! I got to see Erica and Vanessa though :)))) Gosh, I miss them. Erica was so cute. Here is the best line of the night: "Did that ball just to up and down without touching the net?" Me: "Yep, it swished." Erica: "Wow, I have only done that twice in my whole life. It's really, really hard." Hahahahaha, so great. I love that crazy girl :)

I also got to see a lot of my class of teammates, which was great. It was especially great to see Court. She is someone who I feel has stayed true to herself. And I don't think I realized how much I missed her.

After the game, we went to Applebee's to eat as a family. It was yummy yummy!

Year 2 Day 29

Thursday.

Well I woke up and scraped my car off for half an hour. Yep, it took that long. Ran some errands. Packed up my stuff. Waited around. Ate lunch, then hit the road around 12:30.

It took us an hour to get to Lincoln and 2.5 to get to Omaha. Oh well. We are alive and well. That's the most important part.

I dropped Garrett off in Sioux City, then was smooth sailing for the rest of the ride. I listened to a book for most of the rest of the way home, and stopped for a quick Mountain Dew somewhere in Iowa. I was gettin a tad sleepy.

Made it home just after 9.

I needed to shower so badly once I got home. Road trips make you feel gross.

So glad to be home. I love my family, and my kitty, and my bed.

Year 2 Day 28

Wednesday.

I woke up and ate some breakfast and went to chapel.

Then I went to take my Physics test. Probably should have studied more. YOLO.

I then went to eat lunch, and then said by to my roomies.

We got a MAJOR snowstorm today in Seward. I didn't leave my room much til dinner time. I spent a solid 6 hours by myself, and man was it amazing.

I went and ate supper and then hung out with Kierstyn and Montana. That's it, I'm joining the track team. These peeps are too cool. Just kidding of course. We crafted it up for most of the night, then returned to my room to watch a Christmas movie with the guys.

Year 2 Day 27

Well I haven't updated for a week, so I will do my best to remember everything.

Tuesday was a day for no finals. I just had to show up to my Teaching Exceptional Students class and we watched a movie called The Ron Clark Story. It was such a great movie, and movies like it are always encouraging to my decision to be a teacher. Definitely inspiring.

I ate lunch, then returned to my room where I should have started studying, but actually decided to clean, listen to music, organize, and basically everything under the sun besides studying.

After Audrey got back we did cleaning and the dishes together. We both like to clean instead of study.

Audrey and I ate dinner then went to workout. It was a solid workout. I am really starting to like the treadmill.

We then returned to our room to watch a movie and study. We watched Meet The Robinson's and its such a cute movie!

Then we went to hang out with the peeps. 'Twas a blast, as always.

Year 2 Day 26

It's hard to think that finals matter when families in Connecticut are having to bury their 6 or 7 year old child who was point blank shot while attending school.

I saw a picture of these kids for the first time today, and it just really hits home more when you see the pictures of the kids who this man looked straight at, in all of their crying, screaming, and shaking, and still pulled the trigger. Ahh, it just gives me the shivers. To think that I could be that teacher someday. The teacher of that classroom. Does the idea scare me? Yes. Does it make me question my career choice? Not at all.

Finals went well, and I am brain dead after that Organic Chem. And I am going to miss that class so much. Dr. Jurchen always began EVERY class period with prayer. That's how I am going to lead my classroom. It shows me that he values our time in the classroom and our taking the time to learn the material, but that ultimately, without the knowledge of our magnificent creator, no carbon molecule or benzene ring would even matter. Looking at it from that viewpoint, every last molecule, protron, neutron, chemical, everything, was made for a purpose. How cool is that? And that's why I want to teach.

We had Praise tonight, and we just sang some awesome songs. One of the awesome ones was a Relient K Christmas song...I Celebrate the Day. Here are the lyrics:

We went and got some cookies from the St. John cookie break, then played some games down in the game room while Audrey was working. They started the game Skittles on the pool table, and it was hilarious to watch. 

On a final note, all of us were hanging out while watching A Christmas Carol, and we were just chatting. Cody says, "Rachel, whoever you end up marrying is going to be REALLY awesome." How cool is that?

Year 2 Day 25

Sunday, cram day?

Actually, nope!

I woke up and went to 8:30 church with Audrey. I then came back and took a quick nap before studying some more OChem with Em in Janzow top.

We finished studying around 1:30, so I headed back to my room and hung around before going to my OT review session at 3:00.

That was quite helpful, and I feel as if this test won't be that bad.

I then went to Walmart and got a frozen pizza for Audrey, Lou, and I for supper. Janzow most definitely wasn't happening.

We ate and giggled and had a grand ole time. I love the mood my roomies have been in due to finals. It's pretty stinkin' hilarious.

After eating, we got ready to go to the Advent service that Concordia always does the Sunday evening before finals. President Friedrich posed the question, "What do you have in your hands?" It was a really great sermon.

After, we went back to the room and met Audrey's friend, Katie! She will be transferring here next semester, and her and Audrey have been great friends since about 6th grade. She has some pretty hilarious stories about Audrey. I think we should keep her around! :)

We then went to Brake for Breakfast, which is where the President and some Profs make breakfast food for all of us to take a break from studying. It was yummy!

We all returned to our room and studies some more before hitting the hay.

Year 2 Day 24

Saturday, what up!

I woke up today around 9:30, putzed around on my iPad for a little while, then went to eat brunch/lunch/breakfast with Taylor and Louisa.

I then went to Janz top and studied for a solid hour and a half before going to the library to study OChem.

I was there until 4:40 when I went to the track meet to watch Montana run :) Beast mode in the 4x400!

After the track meet, Audrey, Taylor, and I came back to the room and got ready for our Friend Christmas dinner :)

Here is who was there: Mariah, Michala, Taylor, Audrey, Me, Tori, Melissa, Charlie, Jacqui, Matt, Carli, David, Cody, Ben, Evan, Montana.

It was loads of fun, and absolutely delicious. We ate ham, cheesy potatoes, green beans, crescent rolls, salad, and cookies. Yum, yum!

We played Catch Phrase and Stacks (a game where you move left or right in a circle of sitting people based on whether the phrase said fits you, and you end up sitting on people's laps.)

After that game, we took a break and did dishes while a few people ran to Walmart to buy National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. It was funny, but didn't seem to have as much of a point to the story as I would have thought.

Finally, Montana, Taylor, Ben, Cody, and I hung out in Montana's room for awhile just chatting and having a ball.

Today, was the first day I watched news coverage of the town of Newton in Connecticut. I just can't fathom the idea that some guy would go into an elementary school, and shoot and kill 20 kindergartner and first graders. Not only that, but he killed both of his parents as well. As a teacher, that would be so scary to have someone shooting all of your students. I signed myself up for the job, though. So my students, I would protect. 
I feel for the town. I can't imagine experiencing so much loss.

Year 2 Day 23

Last day of Dead Week Holla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I woke up, ate breakfast, went to Chapel, then went to the last Old Testament class. Now that's class I'm going to miss A LOT. I am contemplating taking Meehl's From Exile to Christ class, because I think it would be really interesting. Maybe I will audit it so that I don't have to do the work at all. That would be nice. Just want to learn.

Then came the last Physics class. Until next semester, at least.

After lunch, I went to Flem and Jordan's room to work on my OChem lab. Got that done then went to class. Basically during class, Dr. Jurchen told us how we have learned how to make drugs (meth), but that he wasn't the one explaining it to us, we were the ones telling him how to do it, since we basically piece together a bunch of stuff we have learned. Either way, it was hilarious. He told us, "Now don't go home telling your family that I taught you how to make Meth. Because I didn't. You guys told me!"

That's another class I am going to miss incredibly. Until next time, Dr. Jurchen. Until next time.

After class, my small group ran to Walmart to get our food and presents for our little boy that we were supposed to buy for. It was a blast picking stuff out!

Flem and I then made our cinnamon rolls for the party, then I headed back to the room to get ready.

We had our team Christmas party tonight, and let me tell you even more how much I love my team. We went to Ky's parents' house and had yummy chili (made by Hannah and Marcie), then went Laser Tagging and to Dairy Queen. So many hilarious pictures, and I will put a few...or a lot here.

Year 2 Day 22

Thursday, fine Thursday.

Began with lifting. It was a really great circuit. And I hate Split Jumps.

After breakfast and chapel came the final class for Teaching Exceptional Students. I have thoroughly enjoyed that class. I basically just love Education classes in general.

I grabbed a quick lunch, then hit the library with Flem. We worked on OChem for a solid 4 hours. And it was terrible for the brain. Especially since we worked through one of the hardest chapters in the book. My brain just wanted to melt out of my head! We were laughing and giggling at the most random of things.

We then hit up Pet Therapy and petted some dogs. I was hoping there would be kitties. Oh well.

I then went on a coffee date with Sarah and Madi :) I love those two.

I ate a quick supper, went to Physics lab, chatted with Dr. Royuk about iPads and using them for our Science class next semester. That class is going to be so great for when I get to use iPads in my classroom someday :)

I talked to Olivia on the phone for awhile, then did all of my Old Testament homework (come to find out he wasn't having us turn it in at all. Oh well, I learned something I guess!)

Then had some hilarious conversations with Taylor, Montana, Cody, and Ben.

I'm still laughing. Hahahahaha.

Year 2 Day 21

This morning I woke up on my own, and it felt amazing.

I got ready, then went to eat breakfast and go to class.

Class was fine and dandy.

I had a great conversation with Anna about tension, and how sometimes people are called by God to live in tension for a specific purpose. Good thing I love tension...haha. Not!

I went and blew through my Piano Final (Shout out to Mrs. Jurgenson, thanks for teaching me so well all those years).

Then had my final Ed Program Interview with Kromminga, whoop whoop!

Then went to OChem, where we finally got our tests back that we took before Thanksgiving break. I beat my goal of 50% or better! Not by much though! Haha, now I can only laugh about it. All will be well. I will still be a teacher with an A- in OChem, if that's what ends up happening. Not many people can say they got an A- in Organic Chemistry, let alone say they passed it. As you can probably tell right now, I am definitely trying to justify almost failing a test.

Good thing God gives us grace man, or I would be screwed.

But that's getting to any entirely different topic, and I probably should not get into that rant on here.

After class, I worked out with the Volleyball team. Core day :) 6 pack here we come!!

I showered, and ran to the library to do part 2 of studying for my OChem final. Flem and I worked on it for two hours and got all of the questions right on one of the hardest chapters in the book, Acids and Bases. What, what! We were flying high after that, it was incredible!

I then worked at the guys' basketball game, where we fought valiantly against the #8 team in the nation, Doane. We were winning for a good chunk of the game, but came up short in the end.

I then went to Praise, and returned to my room to finish up some homework for tomorrow quick. I was stapling together a paper when I realized I was out of staples. I open my top drawer to find a picture of Chemistry Cat taped to the inside. Hahahaha. Then I opened my closet to see more kitties taped there. Hahahaha. I will post the pictures of it tomorrow. Audrey had a little fun posting kitties around the room for me to find :) I love her.

Year 2 Day 20

Tuesday morning, as of lately, has begun with lifting. It was pretty stinkin' fantastic, especially since Hannah is my lifting buddy :)

We ate breakfast, then came back to the room. I showered, then headed to chapel.

After chapel came Teaching Exceptional Students. I only have one more day of that class. I'm definitely going to miss it.

I then ate lunch, and returned to my room to attempt at doing something. Too much to think about, however, with the soccer meeting approaching, so I got a few things accomplished, then went to shoot the basketball and listen to music. Relax a bit.

The soccer meeting came and went. There were definitely tears streaming down my face at one point, but I tried to contain myself and keep it subtle.

After, Audrey and I cleaned the other room while watching Mama Mia. And by that I mean I picked up the couple of things that were mine while Audrey finished the cleaning she had already started.

I ate supper, went to Organic Chem study sesh, check out of lab, sad day :(, then hit up the library to start studying for my OChem Final. Flem and I are rockin studying together.

I returned to my room, got ready for bed, then proceeded to participate in Embarrass a Teammate Night. This is when our soccer team creeps through each other's old pictures, and proceeds to post the most embarrassing ones in our Facebook group. I think I may have been the only one that wasn't hit. This is only due to the fact that my parents kept me from getting one til I was no longer awkward (aka a Senior in High School). PTL :)

Year 2 Day 19

Monday of dead week. Holla. I actually don't have that much to do this week, which is actually making me more nervous than if I had a lot to do. I just really need to study bunches.

I woke up and went to the captain's meeting, then went to Old Testament and Physics.

Hit up lunch. Mac and Cheese and Hot Turkey sandwiches :)

After lunch, we had our Christmas Piano recital. Haha it was great.

Organic Chemistry actually made a load of sense. Things are finally sinking in. I like it.

After class came a soccer meeting.

Then we rearranged our room :) Bunk beds. I like it WAY better this way. My desk isn't way back in a cave anymore. Thank the Lord.

I went and played soccer with Flem, Melissa, Elyse, Ash, and I. It was a ton of fun because we just played. That's such an awesome feeling. Flem, Melissa, and I had this sick play. I already can't wait for next season.

I organized my crap, then went to Fidelity. We did a word study on Perseverance. It was pretty sweet.

Year 2 Day 18

Sunday, fun day.

I fell asleep on the LoveSac last night, and woke up around 2 am to crawl in my bed. For a brief moment I didn't know where I was and it was strange.

We (Tori, Audrey, and I) woke up to go to 8:30 church. I was definitely feeling tired though. Luckily the sermon kept my attention or I may have fallen asleep on Tori's shoulder.

We came back to our room and definitely took a solid nap until lunchtime. We turned on HIMYM and I fell asleep about 10 minutes in.

After lunch, I went to Em, Jordan, and Kendra's room to make Taylor's week late birthday cake and some brownies.

I came back to our room and Audrey and I went to town on the brownies because they were still warm. YUM.

Did some homework, ate some more brownies, watched some NCIS, went to dinner, had Bible study, then did some more homework while watching the Amazing Race.

After the Amazing Race I ran some Peanut Butter over to Annalisa and Marcie's room and chatted with them for a bit. I absolutely love them. So much.

Hall meeting, shower, homework and bed. I may be finished with this weeks homework before I go to bed. Holla to productiveness!

I will be living in the library this week. I will get an A in Organic Chem. I will get an A in Organic Chem.

Year 2 Day 17

Saturday, Holla!

I slept in til I couldn't sleep anymore. Which meant...9:30. Whoop whoop!!

Ate some breakfast/brunch/lunch. Then returned to my room and did some movie watching and craft making.

I worked the basketball games. The girls won by 20 and the guys lost a good one. They were down by a lot at one point, but came back to only lose by 10 I think, and that was only because of free throws.

After that came dinner and Christmas at Concordia. It was absolutely amazing, as always. The A Capella Choir never ceases to amaze me.

Tori, Audrey, and I hung out for the rest of the night, coloring sheets from coloringpagesformom.com, making a Walmart run for Pringles, and then watching random shows on tv.

Year 2 Day 16

Second to last Friday of the semester!

Today was great for a number of reasons.

1) I kicked my Organic Chemistry quiz's butt. Studying pays off, I guess. Strange concept there... :)
2) Sales at the Bookstore. Enough said.
3) I worked out with the volleyball team today. Well, I mean Audrey had optional lifting, so I asked if I could be an honorary member today, that way I didn't have to come up with my own workout. And their coach said, "Of course!" It was cool that he was still concerned about my form when it came to lifting, and didn't shy away from "coaching" me even though I am not one of his players. Plus, he called me Rach the whole time. That was pretty cool. I love when people call me Rach. I probably will continue to go with Aud when I can.
4) Taylor did the dishes last night, so I didn't end up having to do them today. Holla!
5) Discovered a new App, "Study Blue". Awesome flash cards!
6) God is awesome, my friends. God is awesome, sovereign, loving, and always in control. How big of a weight does that lift off your shoulders??
7)  After Audrey got back from work, we went to Neutral Groundz to listen to some Christmas music and chill with Cody, Ryan, Ben, Carli, Mariah, Michala, and Amber. After being there a little bit, we decided playing hide and go seek around the block was a good idea, but there was nowhere to hide really, so we went back and chilled for a bit. I love my friends.

Year 2 Day 15

Thursday, Thursday!

We had lifting this morning, and it was a circuit. The abs were pretty tough, but for the most part, everything else wasn't too bad.

Had a nice breakfast chat with Lou, Jordan, and Annalisa. Jordan's gonna be a teacher yet :)

After Chapel, Ed, and Lunch, I went back to my room to prepare for my Ed Program Interview with Dr. Bork. I put on Nylons. Things just got real up in here. You know you really want to be a teacher when...

The interview went great!! :) Praise the Lord!

After, I came back to my room and watched Once Upon A Time, then headed to soccer practice. I love Futsol :)

Soccer meeting after practice, then supper, life chats with Louisa, and studying, studying yeah! I texted with Mia a bit, tonight, and it made me feel so blessed. I just wish I had been closer in age to her because I didn't get to spend as much time getting to know her as I would have liked.

I studied with Em, Jordan, and Audrey for a long time in Janz Top last night.

Let me just tell you. I love my teammates, especially Jordan and Em. It has been a pleasure getting to know the two of them even more this year, and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

Year 2 Day 14

Wednesday. I definitely slept hard last night, and it felt good. I also kicked Audrey in the face sometime during the middle of the night. Sorry bout that, Audge!

Class, class, class. One more week of classes! I can do this! I actually haven't had very much to do...so that's a plus!

After working out, Audrey, Taylor, and I decided to make a Lincoln trip for some Christmas shopping. It was productive for me, not so much for them, but they still enjoyed themselves.

We came back, I finished my little piece of homework, then went to Praise. It was great.

Year 2 Day 13

It seems about Day 13 that I normally come up with what my daily theme is going to be. Last year it was songs, this year is going to be verses. I will post a verse at the bottom of each of my posts.

Tuesday was great because it started with lifting. Lifting kicked everyone's butt, but it felt good!

I went to chapel and class, then say at lunch for awhile before deciding I should probably get some homework done.

I returned to my room and did some homework before going to Panama with Audrey.

After, I did some more homework, or basically just wasted time while drawing up other room layouts with Taylor. We found a website that works, and it's awesome!

I went to dinner, Organic Chem study session, and Lab. That was my last Organic Chem lab EVER! I am not sure whether to be happy or sad about that, because I really enjoyed it.

Had one last dodgeball game tonight, where we lost to Jordan, Em, and Kash's team. Dang it. Oh well. It was fun! #TMNT

Year 2 Day 12

Monday, Monday.

Second to last week of classes. Let's do this!!

I went to class, chatted with Anna, went to more class, then came back to the room to do some homework.

I ended up going to the Public Library and got a couple of books and some movies.

I then worked on homework before going to dinner. After dinner I did some more homework, them we had Futsol :)

I love playing soccer in the old gym! It was so much fun.

Year 2 Day 11

Audrey, Lou, and I went to Staplehurst for church. It was a good service.

The Pastor there knows Lou and Audrey, so here is the conversation that happened after church:
Pastor: "Oh, the Mehl's have returned. Oh, you're not a Mehl though, are you? I didn't think you looked like them."
Me: "Nope, I'm just the Mehl's roommate."
Pastor: "Well close enough, then." :)

We watched some NCIS before going to lunch.

After lunch, I worked the badminton tourney, and since one team couldn't play til 2:30, we had some time to kill between games. I played some basketball with Adam and Spencer, and definitely almost beat them. It was the bomb. Oh and I wasn't wearing shoes, and was in jeans.

I came back to the room, watched some HIMYM, and did some homework.

Next came Bible Study, whoohooo!

Then came our TMNT dodgeball game. We kicked butt :) It was epic!

Then came celebratory flex dollar milkshakes. Yum!

Finally, ended the night by watching some movie Ben is just obsessed with, Eight Crazy Nights. Ben, Jordan, Cody, and Matt came over to watch it with Taylor, Aud, Tori, Monty, and I.

Year 2 Day 10

Happy BirthdAy, Taylor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Today, we slept. Then we ate breakfast. Then Taylor opened her presents. I was so excited to give it to her cuz she was going to have a completed Harry Potter Collection now :)

I worked a badminton tourney.

Played some soccer with Em, Jordan, Cole, and Brad. It was fun. My goal now is to be on the same wavelength as those two :) Jordan and I talked about going out for track. She said if I did, she would. Hmmmmmm. I have thought about it...

We then went out to eat for Taylor's birthday at Lazlo's :) We also got Ivanna Cone. Yum :)

After returning to our room, we watched some HIMYM. It was a solid day :)

Year 2 Day 9

Friday, man this week has gone by pretty fast!

I went to breakfast, chapel, and class. My physics test went decently well. Could have gone better, the multiple choice was harder, but oh well I guess.

After O Chem, I worked on the molecular building thing with Em and Melissa, then went to workout with Lou and Aud.

After that, Audrey, Taylor, Montana, Mariah, Ben, Jacqui, Matt, Cody, Jordan, Evan, and Josh went to Sam and Louie's because Cody had a free pizza coupon. We got our fill of pizza for $5 a person. That's a good deal :)

After, we came back to our room and watched Shutter Island, then played some really hilarious games. Needless to say, my abs got stronger from lots of laughing :)

Year 2 Day 8

Thursday.

We had lifting this morning! Yay for workouts! :)

I ate breakfast, then showered, then went to class.

We had a short speaker then took a test in my Ed class.

I then got some OT done before my individual meeting with Whitie.

It went really well, and there were some tears shed, not on my part though. I somehow managed to hold them off. That's not normal for me.

After, I came back to my room, then went on a five mile bike ride on the trail. Yay! :)

I chatted with Lou for awhile, then we went to dinner.

I went to a Phone-a-thon meeting, then went to lab, then hit up the library to finish my OT.

After that came two IM dodgeball games. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles :) We won the first game, but lost the second one. It was so much fun!!

I then studied some Physics and hit the hay. I was wiped.

Year 2 Day 7

Wednesday came and went, just like a majority of this week. I thought it was going to go by slowly, but it went by really fast.

Class was good today, and we got a bunch of Organic Chem labs back, so that was great!

After class we had a soccer meeting and talked about our Christmas party! I am really excited.

I worked the guys basketball game, and it was intense! They ended up losing in Overtime, but it was a fun game to watch.

I was hoping to go to Praise, but the basketball game went too long. Next week!
